I Just received this email from the BRCC:
"Tired of the Construction Activity on the Boulevard?
Want to shop and dine at your favorite
Bird Rock Stores and Restaurant
during the holidays in relative calm?
Relief is on the way!
Construction activity will stop on the Boulevard
and equipment and materials removed
from December 8 through December 26.
Traffic control will remain in place, but temporary diagonal parking will be added on the west side of the boulevard.
Please note that the holiday “moratorium” was originally scheduled for December 17 through January 1; however, through two merchant meetings and one community meeting Bird Rock agreed that having the two weeks prior to Christmas was the preferable time frame.
Don’t forget that
all Bird Rock Stores and Restaurants
are open for regular business during the construction!
On-street parking is available!
